INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

AMI has developed a network of high quality foundries throughout the Midwest and the United States. This trusted network of suppliers gives us the opportunity to provide customers with the lowest price by negotiating with multiple qualified suppliers. This is one of the reasons that our customers have asked us to take a Tier 1 approach to their machined castings.

Along with castings, we will also purchase and manage the inventory on other materials needed for our customer’s parts, such as bar stock and sub-assembly components. We hav the ability to store all of this inventory in our on-site warehouse

We work with our customers using EDI integration to make sure their products are delivered in a timely manner. A Kanban Scheduling System can also be used to ease product flow through our facility and optimize logistics control.
